Jake

Jake has been with us for three days now and we are loving him. He was born on March 3rd, he is a boxer, and he is absolutely adorable! Jake is a snuggler! He likes to be held by anyone and everyone.
We just had our first visit to the Vet today to get him shots and his wellness check. He loved playing with the little kids and the other dogs until it was time for his shots. He probably hates the Vet as much as I hate the dentist. When they put the chip in him he was not too happy, but now at least he wont get lost.
At the present he is snoring, which can be a little disturbing at times. We are so happy to have little Jake with us!

The Ogden Marathon

The Grand Slam had begun! I have set out to run 4 out of 5 of the major marathons in Utah this year. It's a competition called the Grand Slam. The first one was last Sat. in Ogden. I finished in 4 hours 45 min which is ok with me. The next one is June 13 in Provo.

Going...Going...Gone

After I don't even know how many years of growing my hair, I finally cut it all off and gave it to locks of love. I cut 12 inches total, 10 inches to donate. My head feels a lot lighter and it is so fun to have a change. I love it!!

The Wish Token Date

For our wedding I gave Ryan a wish token. Basically, we exchange it back and forth and get to make wishes. Its pretty fun. This week, I wished for Ryan to take me on a date, that he planned and that I didn't have to make any decisions about. He did very well! We went to a store called Brushfire, its an art studio where you get to pick out ceramic pieces and paint them. It was so much fun! I painted a cute princess mug and Ryan painted a monster truck piggy bank.

A trip back to 8-8-08

Even though it hasn't been that long, some days my wedding day seems like forever ago. Everyone says it goes by in a blurr and I didn't feel that during the day but now I look back and think it went by so fast. Its amazing that you plan your whole life for something, you dream about it all your childhood and then its over. The part that I love the most is it just keeps getting better. My fairytale with my prince charming has only just begun...

Okay...Here it goes...

Well, I guess I put this blogging thing off long enough. I'm pretty sure nobody is going to read this but I'll treat it like a journal and maybe I'll get something good out of it. I'm just sitting here watching the CMAs and missing my husband. He had to go to a play for school and I'm home alone. A funny thing happened today: our realty company gave us 24 hour notice that they were doing a surprise inspection. Well, my cat Cupid is not allowed to live here according to them so we had to find a way to hide her. Not know where they would check we put her in the car for the day. But I didn't want her to be unhappy so I gave her a kitty sleeping pill in hopes that she would sleep through the day. She didn't sleep through it but I let her in the house as soon as they were done with the inspection. Its been so hilarious watching her be a drunk kitty that can't jump or play. She has taken a strange liking to Ryan while intoxicated. That part is great. I don't want to ramble on so I'll put up some cute engagement pics for everyone to look at. Next time..wedding pics and then we'll move on to the present.

Update

Well...Melissa told me I need to update this to keep eveyone informed. So stay tuned and I will do that. Long story short: I'm a nurse, I'm a student, I'm a new wife. Thants about it.
